Aiden had his 1yr appointment and he's now 23lbs 9oz and 32" long. He grew 2" since his last appointment! He had 3 shots and hated every one and spent the next 2 days with a fever, and he'll most likely get a small case of chicken pox in the next week the Dr. said, from the vaccine. His new favorite thing is crawling on and into anything, and hiding things in drawers. I found our phone in my nightstand today.

My baby turned 1 today. We walked around Lake Chabot, had a picnic in the rain and fed the ducks for the occasion. At 1yr Aiden is saying Ma ma, Da da, Ball (his favorite), "This" (as in what's this), tickle tickle, whoa, uh oh, kitty, and he has a noise that he makes to immitate me when I say "thank you." He has 9 teeth and more on the way. He immiates me on the phone by holding anything to his ear and talking in a high pitched voice. He knows where his hair, toes and pee pee are and he can do high five and blow kisses. He'll take a step here and there but is still not walking without holding onto something.

Aiden's birthday party turned out to be a great day. The weather cooperated, the bounce house arrived on time and we didn't run out of food. Aiden wasn't really into his cupcake, I guess his sweet tooth hasn't come in yet =). He is loving all his wonderful gifts! Thank you to all who helped and to all 52 of you who came.
