Christmas Eve Morning at my Sister's
Christmas Eve at Joe's Uncle's (7 kids 3 and under!)
Christmas Morning our house 6am before Joe leaves for work.
Christmas Day relaxing, playing with toys
The 26th (Christmas at our house) Aiden got the "Red Mack" he's been talking about since July.
While all the Christmas fun was going on, my boys were slowly catching a cold. Aiden was struggling to even talk today and had to take a breath every 3rd word so I called the advice nurse and after deciding he wasn't getting enough oxygen from his blue lips ( I hadn't noticed because of his binky), we headed for the E.R. They got us right in and after 4 rounds of Albuterol, chest ex-rays and a take home inhaler, we were on our way home. He's doing ok. Still wheezing, so we'll be laying low the next few days.

We had a really nice Thanksgiving down in Long Beach/Huntington Beach. We left Wednesday and after an 8.5 hour drive, we made it. We stayed at Joe's dads house and had Thanksgiving at his brother's where Andrew got to meet Great-Grandma Perry for the first time. She just celebrated her 95th last week. On Saturday we drove out to Fillmore (just west of Magic Mountain) and rode the Polar Express train where they served cookies and chocolate milk and Santa came through to meet the kids. Aiden actually talked to him this year and told him he wanted a flash light. (There's already one in his stocking-weird) After the train stopped and the kids ran around a little, we headed for home at 9pm. At about 2am, Joe said we needed to stop for gas because our car said 4miles to empty so I got out the TOMTOM and it said there was a Chevron in Livermore 2miles away. So we got off the freeway and found the Chevron sign, but the station hadn't been built yet. So now with 2 miles to empty, we found that the next station was farther than that so we had to call AAA. At 2:45am, they arrived and rescued us. We were in our beds by 3:30am. The next day Joe surprised me with an appointment for a 90min. massage for my birthday present. It was perfect timing.

This has become a typical seen at my house as we begin the nap rotation. I put one down as they sit and watch a "Baby Einstein" before their turn. Luckily Aiden still loves these shows even though there's no talking. He likes to tell the other guys what everything is.

What I saw when I walked in the kitchen. Do you think this is covered in the warranty?

I feel like I haven't posted in a while so I thought I would put up a couple pictures. Not much new here. Our new dog has epilepsy so he's on meds now; the little 5 month old I've been watching is now in 18month clothes. He was using Drew's clothes as he grew out of them and this last month completely passed him and now we will be getting his hand-me-downs. Andrew's still not walking and I'm in no rush. He still only has 8 teeth though I can feel a couple more coming. It's hard to believe he'll be 1yr old next month. It's gone by so much faster than Aiden's first year. Drew can say Dog very clearly and "Gook" is book. He's very into books right now. Aiden has been on a coloring kick and can draw a smiley face though it usually has more than 2 eyes. He can draw a circle, triangle and sometimes he can get a square right. He's about 5 weeks in to swim class and can swim almost completely by himself. He's been doing wonderfully and has no fear now of the water. We went to my cousin's son's 1st b-day party and Aiden wanted to jump off the diving board so I walked him up there and he didn't even wait for me to count to 3 before he jumped. It looks like I pushed him, but I was trying to stop him because I wasn't ready! Well, that's about it for this week at the Perry's!
