Jenn's Bridal Shower

I threw a Bridal shower today for a close friend from our softball team who will be getting married in May in Kona. It was a great time and Aiden enjoyed helping Jenn with her gifts while Andrew slept almost the whole time. Here's also a picture of my 1st attempt at an "Edible Arrangement."

Eating Cereal & Using the Potty!
We started potty training yesterday and it went so much better than I thought. Aiden cried and cried at first and didn't want the potty but after peeing on himself 6 times, he decided it wasn't so bad and after about 2pm, only had 1 accident. Today (Day 2) has gone great. He's peed in the potty 3 times so far and only had 1 accident and it was my fault because I had to run downstairs to help Joe with something. I came up and he had a load! I just love his little bum in the undies though. It's so cute. Here he is in his Handy Manny underpants and in his new Firetruck that was a late birthday gift.
We started Andrew on a little cereal and at first everything just came out, but then he started sucking on the spoon and would whimper when I took it away. Needless to say he ate the whole bowl! And yes, I do cut his nails and he still looks like this.

We made it home last night at 9pm after leaving Oregon at 10am. It was a long day, but we were able to spend a couple hours with my brother's family in Magalia and see their home. Our weekend in Oregon was not exactly relaxing, but fun. Aiden had a blast with "Dolce" the dalmation. She is a doll and had there been any puppies left, I'm sure we would have one too. There is nothing cuter. My Aunt will have to get used to having a puppy in the house, but they seemed to have bonded nicely and I know no dog will be loved more. Andrew didn't make a peep all weekend and was so good in the car we almost forgot about him. His 2nd tooth is almost all the way through now. I can't wait for the first toothie smile picture.

Dr. Visits and getting ready for Oregon
Both boys went to the Dr. yesterday. It was Andrew's 4mo appt. and Aiden's 2yr appt. Both had to get shots and Aiden was a big boy and didn't cry. Andrew on the other hand hasn't stopped crying. He had a rough night up every 2hrs and still is fussy. His 1st tooth has popped through and the other is close behind. Andrew was 14lbs 11oz and 26" and Aiden was 31lbs 35.5". Andrew's only in the 40th % for weight and 82% for height. Aiden has bumped up to 79% for weight and down in height from 91% to 56%, which I think is because at 2, they measure standing up and it was hard to keep him still. =)

On to our next adventure, Friday we leave for our longest family roadtrip yet. We're heading up to Jacksonville OR, to visit my Aunt for the weekend and then stop on Sunday to see my brother, sister-in-law and nephew. My Aunt has also decided to get a puppy the same weekend and the breeder is in Moraga, so we volunteered to bring the 8wk old Dalmation up for her. It will be a full and noisy car ride, but we're making memories right?
