Andrew got his first haircut this morning and did very well. He didn't move at all as long as he could hold his dinosaur. After haircuts, we drug the boys to the Picture People for Easter/17months/1st haricut pics.

My "Little" Lucas Lek, or as I call Lex as in Lex Luther. He will be 1 next week. I think we're going to make it. He's finally settling in and learning the ropes. This was the scene yesterday as we watched a Dora show (Kaliya's favorite) I was watching Kaliya for a half day and Aiden was in heaven. He can't get enough of her. She's Lucas' cousin. Enjoying snacktime outside. I ventured out today with all 3 boys to the Zoo for the 1st time. I was pleasantly surprised that with Aiden's new booster seat that I can squeeze 3 car seats in the back of my car. We had fun except that it must have been field trip Friday because it seemed like every school in the bay area was there.
Joe is off with John, Brian and his dad to Spring training this weekend. He got off work this morning and flew out of SF to return sometime monday morning, go straight to class and then to work the next 2 days. It will be 8 full days without a hubby and 4 of those days with 3 or more kids. Aghhh!!!
Aiden had his open house last night for Preschool and it was interesting watching him with the other boys. We're told there are 22 boys and 7 girls so I'm sure he'll be coming home with lots of nice things to say. As he was climbing the jungle gym (as he oh so carefully does), a bigger boy came barreling past him yelling, "move it baby," and he turned and looked at me so sad and said, "mom, he called me a baby!" I wanted to cry. He looks so innocent and has so much to learn about this world. His sheltered little world is about to change, but it's for the better and will help him socialize. I'm hoping soon he will be saying "hello" to little boys instead of roaring like a dinosaur at them. I did see him start up a conversation with a cute little girl. He asked her name and how old she was, and I giggled as I watched him struggle to only put 3 fingers up as he said he was three. Heart strings, that's all I can say.

We went with some friends including Kaliya and Lucas to the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose on Saturday night for a fundraiser they were having. When we walked in, Aiden went right up to the greeter and asked if they had dinosaur bones and she said no, but that they had a skull of a baby Mammoth that was found in San Jose 5yrs prior and she would sneak us in to see it. It was neat to see it and know it was found so close to where we live. Aiden enjoyed it and of course loved the water room. I love how the dads are both trying to get the boys to look at me and neither could care less.

Tag...you're it.
We've been playing the game of "Can you guess who's going to get sick this week?" Aiden started it with a week of fever, cough and runny nose, then Drew got it and so kindly gave it to me. Joe's been working, taking classes and teaching so much that he hasn't been home long enough to join the club. Consequently, I've been bad about new posts so here's the last month's summary. These were taken at my Aunt's surprise 70th party that I helped throw. Aiden is playing with my cousins kids that we see maybe once a year. It was a lot of fun.
This was a quick trip to see Joe at work. Thanks Noni for the pics!
Quick family picture before someone loses an eye. This is Drew the day before he got sick
This was the next day. It hit him like a ton of bricks. He's still a snotty mess, but happier.
