Our trip was wonderful. We started at my Aunt's house in Hudson the first 2 days where we had a great thunderstorm, found an awesome park for the boys and went to a softball game (something different). Next we headed north to Birchwood where 18 of us shared 2 cabins right on the water. Aiden caught his first 2 fish all by himself and Drew managed to keep from falling off the dock. Drew got to meet my granparents for the first time and kept us entertained the entire week with his dinosaur roars and on our toes with his constant sprint towards the lake.We rented a pontoon boat and also got a day's worth of shopping in, in Hayward ( a cute town just north of where we were staying) which also homes the fishing hall of fame that we visited.
We also made it to a family reunion for my mom's father's side and I got to meet another one of her brother's (there are still 7 I haven't met). That's Wisconsin for ya. We enjoyed making cheese curds and hanging with the family I never get to see. Joe's mom came too and it was wonderful having another grandparent around.
